My little Gymnast!

Gracie has been doing gymnastics since she was 18 months old and she is starting to get really good at it! She started the three year old class by herself this past October. I took my camera with me a couple of weeks ago and too some pictures of her. She is growing up so fast! She has learned how to flip on the bar all by herself! She walks on the beam, does rolls and cartwheels, and does tricks on the trampoline.

Tonight we have dance. She is so stinkin cute at dance! She'll have a recital in the spring and I can't wait! (And yes the family will be invited!) Jimmy and I laugh about it everytime we talk about it. They learn a new "move" that goes in their recital dance every week. We missed last week but two weeks ago they learned to "walk like an egyptian." It was the funniest thing ever. She came home and was trying to do it so I told Jimmy to help her. I took pictures of the two of the walking like an egyptian. Jimmy is so good with her! He'll help her with anything! A couple of days ago she was trying to do cartwheels and he was in the floor with her "spotting" her. Well, that was after I had to do 2 full cartwheels to show her what they should look like. She thought my cartwheels were so funny! It's been years since I've done a cartwheel, so every muscle in my body stretched and popped! I guess I really am out of shape! The pictures turned out a little dark. I guess my flash didn't kick on! Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my 24th birthday! For the most part, it was a relaxing day. Gracie and I slept in and layed around for a couple of hours. Then we went and ate lunch with Allison and Bentley at Momma Deans in Fayetteville. That was an experience! Jimmy was out of town last night and Gracie stayed the night with my mom so it was a girls night out! I had this crazy feeling so I decided to get a tattoo. Allison, Merry Ann, and I headed out on our way to get a tattoo, but stopped and ate at Subway first. Classic! I got my tattoo and then we went to Chili's to have cake. Their chocolate molten cake is to die for! Check out my tattoo pictures!

So the tattoo really wasn't that bad! I don't think I could stand something huge like a gigantic butterfly on my back but this little tattoo really wasn't bad. It's Gracie's name. This is my first tattoo and it will be my last! Thanks Anthony!

Busy, Busy, Busy

School is back in full swing! I'm taking an online class and I'm also attending two classes at the college on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We've been so busy lately and it's going to get worse this next month! We've been ring shopping! Yes, that is engagement ring shopping! I'm so excited! I've waited a long time and it finally is starting to feel like it's the right timing! When I started looking at rings, I had a certain cut and style in mind. Now since we've shopped pretty much everywhere, I'm stuck between 4 different rings and 4 different styles... Ugh! I didn't think it would be this hard because I thought I knew what I wanted! But I think we've narrowed it down to 2. So I will leave it up to Jimmy to decide between the two.

Jimmy has got a major "project" going on that will keep us very busy! I'm not going to go into detail but if anyone is reading this, just keep us in your prayers! Also we are still house hunting! I absolutely hate it! I think we've decided to buy a lot that we have in mind and build our favorite house on it. So it's starting to work out. We know the house we are going to build for sure and we are pretty sure about the lot. Now we are working on selling our house or renting it. Jimmy's got a few people that are interested so we'll see how it works out. Hopefully we'll have everything in line in the next 2 months.

Gracie decided she wanted some fish after her friend Bentley got some. Her daddy took her to Petsmart Friday night and she picked out 2 goldfish. She decided to name them Dora and Diego. Go figure! I took some pictures of Gracie and Jimmy putting the fish tank together.

"Tap Tap Shoes"

Jimmy has been out of town for the last four days and should be home between midnight and 1 tonight. It's been a pretty stressful past four days with a ton of stuff going on. Gracie has been pretty good until today she started driving me crazy! I don't know if it was really her or just my nerves! So yesterday was her first day back to dance class and today was her first day back to gymnastics after 3 weeks! She calls her dance class "tap tap shoes" and her gymnastics class "nastics." She is getting really good at both and loves going! Yesterday was my moms birthday and we went out to eat after dance. Mom couldn't make it in time to dance so I decided to take my camera to show her some pictures. Gracie has been doing gymnastics since she was 18 months. She started dance this past summer. I am very impressed at how quick she is learning her ballet and tap moves! Here are some pictures of her dancing!

Fun day at the park!

Yesterday it was around 70 degrees in Fayetteville so Allison and I decided to take the kids to the park. We had a wonderful time playing outside and not freezing our tails off! Gracie had fun swinging, doing the monkey bars, and sliding! If the rain holds off today, I think I'll take her to the park in Springdale to feed the ducks. Tonight, we are going to dinner to celebrate moms 51st birthday! Jimmy is out of town. He went back to Illinois to deer hunt. It's so nice to have the house to myself and not have to clean up after him or worry about what to cook for dinner for a few nights. Although I'm sure the third and fourth night I'll be quite lonely! We've been looking at a new house the last couple of days. It's still under construction. It's about 2 or 3 months out. I guess we're in the process of trading with the builder. Seems like that's the easy way to go these days since the house market stinks! I'll post some pictures of the house later. I haven't taken any yet. Here are some pictures of Gracie at the park! Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts!

Beach Days!

Since the holidays are over, I thought I would post some pictures I took when we went to the beach in November. We had a great time hanging out with Allison and Bentley for a week! Gracie loved the sand! There was a swingset at our hotel in the sand and that is where Gracie wanted to spend all of her time! She wasn't too sure about the water. The waves were so loud and coming so fast, so she didn't really care much about playing in the water. Hopefully we can take Jimmy back with us this summer! Enjoy the pictures!

This is the only time Gracie was out in the water. It would have been better if the water wasn't so cold!

This is Jimmy's favorite picture! She was very photogenic that day!
